Three arrested after shooting, high-speed chase

DENVER -- Three people were arrested Wednesday morning after a shooting near a McDonald's in Westminster followed by a high-speed chase, the Denver Police Department said.

The chase ended when the suspects slammed a white SUV into a tree at West 34th Avenue near Quivas Street. But the suspects ran but were later apprehended by officers.

At least one of the suspects was taken to an ambulance to be treated for unknown injuries. Police said they found a weapon in the SUV.

No one was injured in the shooting near the McDonald's at Sheridan Boulevard and West 72nd Avenue.
