COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are investigating a shooting at a Colorado Springs mall that left two injured.

The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a shooting at the Citadel Mall that happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday.

According to KRDO, police said two victims, a man and a woman, suffered nonlife-threatening injuries near the Hooters restaurant at the mall.

One person was detained in relation, but police said they were still looking for a four-door white sedan that could be involved.

Police said that they were unsure if the shots came from inside or outside the mall, but the investigation pointed to a drive-by shooting.

The mall was put on lockdown and police said that they would be going through the mall to release those sheltered inside, according to KRDO.

Police said families could meet in the Babies R Us parking lot to pickup shoppers from the mall.

Police remained on scene investigating and the department was put onto accident alert and priority dispatch status as of 7:30 p.m.
