Denver Police: ‘Barricade situation’ resolved, man in custody

DENVER – Denver Police say a “barricade situation” in the city is over and a man is in custody.

Police were at at home Tuesday in the 2900 block of West 2nd Avenue, between Federal Blvd. and Decatur Street.

Shortly before 5 p.m., police say a man wanted on domestic violence and felony menacing charges was in custody.

For a time, traffic was shut down in the area. Police also made automated emergency calls to people living in the area, asking them to stay inside
