Hyatt Hotels warns of possible data breach

CHICAGO — Hyatt Hotels is telling customers to check their credit card statements after malware was found on computers.

The company says it recently found the malware on computer used for payment processing at company-managed locations.

Hyatt did not share specific details of the hotels potentially affected or when the malware may have been on the computers.

The company has launched an investigation and is working with cyber security experts.

Customers with questions can visit or call 1-877-218-3036 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. MT.
