SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH, Colo. -- Some of the best Nordic skiing in North America is between Winter Park and Granby.

Snow Mountain Ranch is part of the YMCA of the Rockies and is a fantastic spot for you and your family to learn how to do the traditional Classic Skiing.  Elite athletes make it look easy, but it takes a lot of skill, balance, and coordination to make it look graceful and effortless.  Taking a lesson will get you on the right track to looking like the elite athletes.

Access to trails is free for overnight guests at Snow Mountain Ranch.  Day passes to Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center are available.  They are $20  for ages 13 and up, $10 for kids six to twelve, and children five and under are free.

Full day classic ski rental including boots, skis and poles is $18 for adults and $10 for kids. The “Learn to Ski” package is $50 for adults and $40 for kids.  It includes equipment rental, trail pass, and one hour group lesson.
