DENVER -- Prosecutors called it the most important piece of evidence in the case of a driver who led police on a wild chase in March 2014.

SkyFOX video showed the whole thing as it unfolded across five metro Denver counties during the morning rush hour.

It began when Ryan Stone stole a car with a child inside of it, then led police on a reckless and dangerous chase across the region.

The video provided by the SkyFOX crew made it easy for prosecutors to get a conviction that resulted in a sentence of 160 years for Stone.

On Tuesday, the chopper crew received high honors from the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office, the Colorado State Patrol and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office for providing real-time reporting that day.
