DENVER -- A Colorado pet business was awarded $25,000 on Wednesday for being a small business that's making an impact.

Ortho-Pets pioneered prosthetic legs for pets.

The company works to save and improve the lives of four-legged friends who have lost use of some of their legs.

The "Small Business Revolution" recognized the work the Denver-based business is doing and gave the operators the check Wednesday.
