DENVER — A suspect who allegedly fatally shot a man inside a car in the Montbello neighborhood last week was still being sought Sunday, the Denver Police Department said.

Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 4700 block of North Peoria Street on Monday.

The suspect was identified on Saturday as 20-year-old Kenneth Banks.

Police allege that Banks shot a man inside a vehicle and left him for dead. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Banks remains at large, and police consider him armed and dangerous. He is described as a black man, 6-foot and weighing about 185 pounds.
