Suspect detained after making threats, trespassing in downtown

DENVER — A man was taken into custody Monday after pulling fire alarms and making threats in the Colorado National Bank building, the Denver Police Department said.

Evacuations were ordered as police tried to detain the man just after 9 a.m.

A large police presence was seen downtown as people waited for the situation to be resolved.
