Sometimes the best workouts are the ones where you are so much fun that you forget you’re working out. That’s exactly what happened when Chris Parente joined me for a workout called POUND. The workout incorporates 2 ½ pound grip sticks… or drum sticks. You get to bang your sticks on the floor, overhead, and keep the beat as you work out to current contemporary music. Expect a full body workout with cardio, plyometrics, and a killer ab routine. All the moves can be modified to any level of fitness and the bigger you go, the better the benefit.
