Three teenagers arrested in robberies after police chase

DENVER -- Three suspects in two overnight robberies are in custody after a pursuit and search early Monday Morning, the Denver Police Department said.

The chase started at 1:25 a.m. when officers spotted a vehicle from two prior robberies. The first robbery was just before midnight at Morrison Road and South Wolff Street, the second at First Avenue and Federal Boulevard.

Police did not say if the robberies were armed. A short pursuit began and an officer used a PIT maneuver in the 700 block of Kalamath near Seventh Avenue.

Two suspects were in custody around 3:30 a.m. A third suspect was at large and police closed down Kalamath to set up a perimeter, calling in the K-9 unit.

A third suspect was taken into custody around 4 a.m. and a search began for a possible fourth suspect, who was not found.

Three suspects in custody were identified as Chamera Davis, 19, Lexie Shrader-Maes, 18, and Carlos Osborne, 18.

Charges are still pending. No officers were injured.
