DENVER — Waste Management is holding its first national career day as it looks to fill more than 900 positions nationwide.

Local candidates can interview in Denver on Wednesday for positions in Henderson, Golden and Englewood.

Positions are available for drivers and technicians.

Instead of attending one of the 10 events, drivers and technicians are encouraged to sign up at WMCareerDay.com to begin the process.

The easy- to-use site allows candidates to view open positions in their area and to submit an online application.

After qualifications are verified, the applicant will be able to attend an in-person interview at the appropriate event location and many drivers or technicians could be hired on the spot.
