NASA offers daily look at Earth from space

PASADENA, Calif. — You can now look at a dozen now shots of Earth every day.

NASA launched a new website this week showcasing beauty shots of Earth as it rotates over a 24-hour period.

The photos are taken from the vantage point of the Deep Space Climate Observatory, which is positioned 1 million miles from Earth.

“Each daily sequence of images will show the Earth as it rotates, thus revealing the whole globe over the course of a day,” according to a NASA statement. “The new website also features an archive of EPIC images searchable by date and continent.”
