LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police arrested two possible suspects on Wednesday who were allegedly connected to a shooting involving a woman early Monday morning, the Lakewood Police Department said.

A 36-year-old woman Kelli Stiller was shot outside of a home in the 200 block of Reed Street near O’Kane Park around 3:45 a.m. in Lakewood.

Lakewood police identified a possible suspect on Monday as 30-year-old Arthur James Gutknecht.

Police and SWAT teams set up a perimeter around the alleged suspect’s home, obtained a warrant and entered the home but did not find Gutknecht. An arrest warrant was also obtained for charges of attempted first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Stiller told police a neighbor man and another woman came to her house where they got into an argument. She said the man shot her as she attempted to leave. Officers reported that Stiller was taken to a hospital with a nonlife-threatening injury.

Gutknecht was found in Wheat Ridge on Wednesday afternoon and was arrested for suspicion of attempted first degree murder.

Additionally, Lakewood Police reported that Kailie Ann Hernandez, 22, was believed to be with him at the time of the shooting.   Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

These possible suspects still have to appear in court regarding this case.
