A Fort Collins dog offered the community of Roseburg, Oregon, a furry shoulder to cry on after the fatal school shooting at Umpqua Community College.

Kathy Tripcony and Marilyn Goad flew to Oregon with Cubby, a 15-month-old female golden retriever and trained comfort dog to support first responders, community members and students affected by the Oct. 1 shooting.

Kathy, Marilyn & Cubby work with the K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry.
