Sting rescues 20 teens from prostitution in metro Denver

DENVER -- Twenty teenagers, the youngest just 13 years old, were safe after being rescued from a life of prostitution across metro Denver last week.

The FBI and local prosecutors announced the results of "Operation Cross Country" on Tuesday.

Seven pimps and 40 johns were busted in the weeklong sting.

Investigators held a news conference and said child sex trafficking is a growing problem not just in Colorado but nationwide.

Sting operations took place around the country last week.
