SAN FRANCISCO — Tourists who were on a boat trip on San Francisco Bay to visit Alcatraz island got a big surprise over the weekend.

The water turned red as what was believed to be a great white shark tore into a seal.

The attack was caught on camera by a tourist and uploaded to YouTube on Saturday.

“Holy moly,” a woman off camera says as the blood spreads in the bay. “Oh my gosh.”

Onlookers gasped as the water began to churn. When a shark’s fin appeared — and parts of the seal were seen floating nearby — a child started singing the theme song from “Jaws.”
