Motorcyclist sought after fleeing on foot after attempted traffic stop

Colorado State Patrol troopers and Adams County sheriff's deputies were searching for a motorcyclist who fled on foot after an attempted traffic stop near Washington Street and East 64th Avenue on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015.

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado State Patrol troopers were searching for a motorcyclist who took off on foot after an attempted traffic stop Monday morning.

Adams County sheriff’s deputies are helping search for the motorcyclist around East 64th Avenue and Washington Street, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The motorcyclist stopped at a dead end near East 54th Avenue and ditched the motorcycle, then took off on foot into an industrial area, CSP said.

The motorcyclist was able to elude authorities, prompting the search. No description of the motorcyclist was released.
