Where to get free or discounted coffee on National Coffee Day

DENVER — Tuesday is National Coffee Day, and restaurants and chains will be celebrating.

Here are the chains that are offering specials at participating locations.

Caribou Coffee: When you buy a cup of Amy’s Blend, the company will donate a cup to the nurses and families in cancer centers nationwide.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Customers receive a free medium cup of hot Dunkin’ Donuts or iced Rainforest Alliance Certified Dark Roast Coffee. DD Perks Rewards Program members can also get a coupon for a free coffee or other beverage. The coupon is available by email on on Dunkin’ Donuts’ app. Anyone who joines the DD Perks Rewards Program on Tuesday will receive four free coffees.

Eight O’Clock: Customer can try Coffee Thins’ for free by clicking here. 

Krispy Kreme: Not only do customers get a free 12-ounce cup of coffee, they also get a free glazed doughnut. A small iced coffee, latte or mocha is available for $1.

LaMar’s Donuts: Customers at participating locations can get one free 12-ounce coffee per customer and a free travel mug while supplies last.

Panera: Free coffee will be offered all day.

Peet’s Coffee & Tea: Buy food on Tuesday and receive a free small cup of Peet’s Major Dickason’s blend at participating locations.

Pilot Flying J: Customers can get one free 16-ounce cup of coffee per customer with this coupon.

Starbucks: Whenever a customer buys a bag of coffee in a Starbucks store, a tree will be planted in a community that needs one on their behalf as part of Starbucks’ “Starbucks One Bag for Every Tree Commitment.”

Whole Foods: A 12-ounce cup of coffee is available for 25 cents through September.
