TROY, Mo. — A Missouri woman took to Facebook with a warning about drinking and driving after a car crash killed her husband and baby boy.

The crash happened one year ago Sunday, and Destiny Mantia’s  post to Facebook about the crash is being shared across social media.

A drunk driver slammed into the family’s Chrysler Town and Country on Sept. 20, 2014 between Hawk Point and Troy, Mo.

Her 15-month-old son, Parker, was killed. She and her husband, Corey, were airlifted to the hospital for treatment, and Corey died from injuries he suffered.

The driver who crossed the center line died at the crash.

Mantia wrote Sunday to remember the day that changed her life. The  Facebook post has more than 7,000 likes and 14,000 shares:

A GoFundMe account was set up to help the 21-year-old widow and just short of $40,000 was raised.
