MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- In early July, FOX31 Denver's Deborah Takahara met 7-year-old Kiara Grindrod. She was battling brain cancer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

She lost her ability to walk and talk, but she hasn't lost her fighting spirit.

And on Monday night, Kiara, better known as Kiara the Warrior Princess on her fundraising page, met the world with some very good news to share.

Who better to share that news than WWE fighter John Cena?

"Kiara has been fighting quite a tough battle," Cena said. "And I'm proud to announce she won."

Through the Dream Home Giveaway, FOX31 Denver is raising money to help children like Kiara win the battle against childhood cancer. Click here to buy your ticket and help support that cause.
