Hacking of baby monitors on the rise

DENVER — Several of the most popular Internet-connected baby monitors lack basic security features, making them vulnerable to even the most basic hacking attempts, according to a report from cybersecurity firm Rapid 7.

Specifically, the report found eight of nine cameras that were tested received an “F” grade.
