COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — An issue with the Colorado Department of Revenue computer system temporarily interrupted driver’s licenses services at all four El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Offices on Thursday.

The entire state experienced the same issue, according to the El Paso County Office of the Clerk and Recorder.

“We understand that these interruptions in service can be a great inconvenience for anyone needing Driver’s License services today,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman.  “We also encourage everyone needing Driver’s License services to check our website or Facebook page before coming in to verify that services have been restored.”

Services were restored by 5 p.m.
