Denver Pet Partners, DU work on effectiveness of therapy animals for children

DENVER — Dog handler teams and a miniature therapy horse and handler will be at the University of Denver on Thursday to talk in depth about the effectiveness of therapy animals for children.

Denver Pet Partners works closely with the Institute for Human/Animal Connection at the university.

The goal is to improve quality of life through human-animal interaction and enhance animal-assisted interaction services in Colorado.
