DENVER — The weather felt more like spring than football season for the Broncos’ final preseason game Thursday night.

Fans had to cut their pregame party short when rain started to pour at about 4:45 p.m. It continued through most of the pregame festivities at Sports Authority Field at Mile High

There were not as many fans as a normal because it was the final preseason game.

Despite the rain, the fans who did show up got quite a treat before the game. About two dozen fans lined up to see Peyton Manning enter the stadium. The quarterback signed autographs for the small crowd.

Manning did not start against the Arizona Cardinals, who won, 22-20.

“It’s going to be great. We’re going to watch some of the younger guys get in there and try to get a chance at making the team. We’re really hoping Kapri Bibbs can get in there and run wild and make the team,” Broncos fan Robert Garner said.
