EVERGREEN, Colo. — A semitrailer carrying corn overturned at the bottom of Floyd Hill on Interstate 70 on Tuesday morning, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.

The accident happened about 11:15 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 244.

The left and center lanes of the interstate were blocked as crews worked to clean up the accident.

Minor injuries were reported and CDOT said to expect major delays in the area, though CDOT cameras to the west of the accident showed traffic moving without delays.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
