Police: Man who set fire to truck in garage arrested

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. – West Metro Fire responded to a house fire in west Denver Saturday, caused by a man who intentionally set his truck on fire, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened at a house just west of Kipling Parkway in the 1500 block of South Queen. Officers from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the house in reference to a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found that a man who lives there set his truck on fire in the garage. The fire spread to the house and caused significant damage, police say.

The man is in custody and the fire is currently still under investigation. The identity of the man has not yet been released.

No one was injured in the fire.
