Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter Chelsea is missing.

SOUTH NYACK, N.Y. — Rosie O’Donnell issued a plea for help in finding her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell, whom the comedian said was last seen on Aug. 11.

The same day the worried mom sent out the plea for help, she also thanked everyone who helped find her daughter on who she reported was in police custody, on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

The 17-year-old left home with her 6-month-old therapy dog, a black terrier named Bear, O’Donnell said in a statement on her website Tuesday. Chelsea was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark ripped blue jeans, gray Converse sneakers and a black backpack.

“Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention,” the statement said.

O’Donnell contacted South Nyack police in upstate New York on Sunday to report her daughter had not returned home, a police spokesman said. She has not yet officially been classified as “missing.”

O’Donnell also tweeted a photo of Chelsea and Bear on Tuesday.
