Flash flooding slams Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. -- Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs on Monday afternoon.

A flash flood warning was issued for the region and video showed powerful flooding picking up vehicles and floating them down streets.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for west-central El Paso County.  The storms were capable of producing hail and winds above 60 mph.
