PHOTOS: Aurora theater shooting victims’ families, friends share support for one another

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — After the verdict for the gunman of the Aurora theater shooting was announced, victims’ families comforted each other and shared condolences, hugs and tears.

David Boik, A.J.’s father, pointed out the fact that although these 12 families were strangers before, they all have become one big family since the attack on July 20, 2012.

He also included that though they may disagree at times, the bond they now share can never be broken.

The photos above demonstrate how the Aurora community and has grown to love, support and care for everyone involved.
