District Attorney George Brauchler says mental illness was number one issue in theater shooting verdict

CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- District Attorney George Brauchler was clearly disappointed with the jury's inability to reach a unanimous decision and sentence the Aurora theater shooter to the death penalty.

Nevertheless, he respects all of them and said they did "a hell of good job."

Aurora police Chief Nick Metz spoke and so did Fire Chief Mike Garcia. It's the first time they have been able to talk about this case since it happened.
