Denver Police searching for bank robber

DENVER — ┬áPolice searching for a suspect of robbing a TCF Bank in Denver on Thursday night.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. at 18520 East Green Valley Ranch Blvd, according to Denver Police.

The suspect verbally asked for the money then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was described as a dark-skinned white male, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, between 6 foot to 6 foot 3 inches tall, with a thin build.

Witnesses said the man has a tattoo on the back of his neck depicting a skull and possibly wings. He was seen by surveillance footage wearing a black and gray long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses, black baseball cap, dark jeans, and dark shoes.

Police told the public to be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Bank robbery is punishable by a up to 20-years in prison or more if a dangerous weapon was during the crime.
