DENVER -- It's been a hard three years for the first responders who showed up to save lives at the theater. They've never been able to share their stories outside of court because of the gag order.

Anchor Deborah Takahara had a chance to speak one-on-one with Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz after the verdict was read Friday. He said his officers are ready to move forward.
