JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. —  A 6-foot-tall stolen metal giraffe was found by Sheriff’s Deputies on Thursday.

The picture looks like the giraffe was standing in plain sight in a weed-filled front yard.

Deputies reported the long-necked statue was recovered from South Jefferson County.

Officers tweeted out the picture saying, “Never know what the day will bring!”
