Two garages were damaged in an early-morning fire in the 300 block of North Galapago Street on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

DENVER — One garage was destroyed and a second was severely damaged after an early-morning fire Thursday, the Denver Fire Department said.

Denver Fire crews responded to the blaze in a detached garage at 303 N. Galapago St. about 3:10 a.m. The fire spread to a second garage and a third garage was exposed, but crews were able to knock it down before it spread further.

Denver Fire said a lot of electrical power lines were in the alley that posed a hazard to firefighters.

No homes were damaged and no injuries were reported.

Arson investigators responded, but officials said nothing appears to be suspicious in the early part of the investigation.
