Frontier Airlines kicks off Colorado Day sale with fares as low as $38

DENVER — Saturday is Colorado Day, marking when the state joined the union in 1876. To mark the day, Frontier Airlines is having a Colorado Day sale on Thursday and Friday with one-way fares as low as $38 on some of its more popular routes.

“Our hometown themed fare sale is an opportunity for us to celebrate the state we call home, our growth as an airline and allows us to thank our customers by offering our flights at prices almost as amazing as a Colorado sunset.” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial.

Travel must be done from Aug. 18 to Nov. 18 and Dec. 2 to Dec. 16. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 p.m. MDT Friday.

One-way fares from Denver International Airport:

$38: Dallas-Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.

$49: Austin, Texas.

$59: Minneapolis-St. Paul; Omaha, Neb.

$69: Chicago; Detroit; Houston; Indianapolis; Los Angeles; Kansas City, Mo.; Orange County, Calif.; San Diego.

$79: Memphis, Tenn.; Miami; St. Louis.

$89: Atlanta; Greensboro, N.C.; New Orleans; Orlando, Fla.; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Seattle.
