American Liver Foundation Liver Life Walk

WHO:  The American Liver Foundation Rocky Mountain Division is set to host hundreds of Colorado’s and Wyoming’s most kindhearted residents for its annual Liver Life Walk Denver. Walk participants are stepping up in support of local residents and families currently affected by liver disease. This year’s walk includes an inspiring group of patients, liver donors and recipients, along with family members and friends who have become active advocates for liver patients throughout the Mile High region and beyond.


WHAT: The Liver Life Walk is held annually across the US, including in Denver. AbbVie is the National Presenting Sponsor of Liver Life Walk and University of Colorado Hospital is the Local Presenting Sponsor of the Live Life Walk.


The walk is free and open to the general public. Registration will close on Friday, July 31st at 1PM. Register as an individual or as a team at


The Kid Zone will feature a Giant Connect 4, Slap Shot Hockey, Golf Challenge, Tic Tac Toss and Laser Tag as well as a caricature artist and face painter.

5K/3miles Walk Starts: 9:00AM

Walk Concludes: 11:00AM

WHY: The proceeds of Liver Life Walk Denver 2015 will be utilized to support education and outreach into underserved communities, as well as the education of high school students on the prevention and treatment of liver disease and to fund research in academic medical centers in the Rockies.
