CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. — On westbound I-70 at mile marker 216, the right lane was closed on Saturday morning due to a hole in the road.

CDOT spokesperson Amy Ford said this hole was due to a joint failure on the Loveland Bridge.

The lane was closed until emergency repair crews fixed the 2 foot x 2 foot opening in the road.

Officials reported that the hole was completely repaired around 12:15 p.m.

Traffic near the repairs on I-70 caused delays for westbound travelers.
