DENVER -- Plants that you see blowing in the wind at this time of year could bring serious trouble to your family pets.

The plants are called foxtails, and their seeds can get caught in your pets' paws and fur. They could cause serious health problems.

The burrs on the seeds can lead to an infection or worse.

Veterinarians say they're getting hundreds of calls about them.
