One man slashes his brother’s face with sword during a fight

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Two brothers were involved in a sword fighting incident early Saturday morning, according to Colorado Springs Police.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 3:45 a.m. on the 2700 block of East Yampa Street.

Authorities investigated the incident and found that the two brothers were in a verbal fight, when one of them grabbed a sword and struck the other.

The victim sustained injuries to his face.   The extent of those injuries were not released.

The suspect, Patrick Duran, was taken into custody without incident, KRDO reported.
