Early morning crash sent 4 to hospital, 1 critical condition

AURORA, Colo.  -- A single car drove off the road at East Florida Avenue and South Kingston Street around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The car, with four people inside, drove through a fence and into a tree, Aurora Police told FOX31 Denver.

All four passengers were taken to the hospital.

One of the passengers was in critical condition with possible life-threatening injuries, according to Aurora Police. The other three were hospitalized with lesser injuries.

Authorities said that one person was ejected from the vehicle and the car rolled onto them.

The victims have not been identified.  All the passengers appeared to be in their 20s.

Alcohol was being investigated as a contributing factor.
