Driver arrested after high-speed crash on suspicion of DUI

AURORA — The driver of a car that crashed into a ditch has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Aurora Police tweeted that a single vehicle crash at South Parker Road and East Temple Drive around 12:30 p.m. closed one northbound lane. The car was driving at high speeds, police say.

A follow-up tweet revealed that the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

No injuries were sustained in this crash, police say.
