DENVER — Independence Day fireworks shows in the city of Denver and the surrounding metro area.

Arvada — Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex

Arvada Independence Day Celebration
July 4, 4 p.m.
Admission: Free
Events begin at 4 p.m. with live music, food, bounce houses, games, human hamster balls, vendors and more. Fireworks at dusk.

Aurora — Municipal Center Great Lawn

Aurora’s Fourth of July Spectacular
July 4, 4 p.m.
Admission: Free
Free concert by Emily West, country/pop singer and “America’s Got Talent” finalist, begins at 8 p.m. The Great Lawn will feature live music, delicious food and a fireworks show at dusk.

Boulder — Folsom Field

Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast
July 4, 8:30 p.m.
Admission: Free
Activities include the Mad Hops jump rope team, The Mighty Twisters and Ralphie. Fireworks about 9:30 p.m.

Brighton — Adams County Regional Park

Adams County Independence Day Celebration
July 4, 4 p.m.
Admission: Free
Children’s activities, live music, eating contests and food vendors. Opening ceremony to honor first responders and the military at 4 p.m. Fireworks at 9:45 p.m. followed by a screening of “Top Gun.”

Fireworks begin at dusk with recommended viewing at Cherry Street, north of Virginia Avenue, south of Cherry Creek Drive and west of Colorado Boulevard. Whole Foods Market in Glendale will host a party with Colorado craft beer, a vendor village and specialty foods starting at 5:30 p.m.

Daytime celebrations include a fishing derby starting at 8 a.m., then the Splash Bash begins at 1 p.m. After a skydiver jump, the fireworks will begin at dusk.

Westminster — City Park

The celebration kicks of with a patriotic bike parade at 3 p.m. Rocky Mountain Car Club will host a car show starting at 5 p.m. A concert by Daddy Blue starts at 7 p.m. Fireworks will follow at dusk.
