Nuggets guard Ty Lawson was seen smoking from a hookah pipe while watching the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 25, 2015.

DENVER — There already were rumors about Nuggets guard Ty Lawson being traded and now it seems a certainty.

Not only did the Nuggets draft 19-year-old Emmanuel Mudiay with the seventh pick Thursday night, Lawson was seen in a live stream smoking from a hookah pipe with his friends at a draft party and all but declaring his days in Denver are over.

When the pick was made, he said, “Told you. I’m going to Sacramento, bro.”

Former Nuggets coach George Karl is now the coach of the Sacramento Kings, though there are rumors he could be fired despite only being hired four months ago because he is pushing for the team to trade center DeMarcus Cousins.

Karl would like to be reunited with Lawson in an attempt to reignite their success with the Nuggets.

Nuggets officials were not too thrilled when they heard about Lawson’s performance on the live stream.

“I think there’s often times poor judgment used by all of our players,” Nuggets General Manager Tim Connelly said. “I don’t think it’s the best of judgment to say something like that. “
