Second suspect in Primrose Motel homicide arrested
DENVER — A second person has been arrested Sunday on charges of first-degree murder in connection to the death of a woman whose body was found earlier this month.
Teresa Dean is the second suspect who faces charges of first-degree murder in Cozad’s death.
The body of Abigail Cozad, 31, was found inside a room at the Primrose Motel at 5450 Federal Blvd. on June 1.
The Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office had obtained an arrest warrant for Emiliano Urioste, 30, for first-degree homicide on June 4 and had been searching for him and a blue Honda Civic he may have been driving.
Urioste was booked into the Adams County Detention Facility on Friday in connection with her death.
Investigators haven’t released many details throughout the case, including any possible connections between Cozad, Urioste and Dean or how they believe the three came into contact.
