I-25 reopened after a three-car crash at Alameda

DENVER — A three-vehicle accident closed southbound Interstate 25 at West Alameda Avenue on Sunday evening for more than an hour.

Denver police said some of the occupants of the vehicles were severely injured in the accident about 7:30 p.m. near Broadway

Interstate 25 was closed during investigation and reopened about 8:45 p.m.

It’s not known what caused the accident or how many people were injured
