Northglenn police shoot, injure man accused of opening fire on them

NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Northglenn  police shot and wounded a man Wednesday afternoon near 112th Avenue and Huron Street.

They said they were responding to a call about a man with a gun and when they arrived, the man opened fire. He missed the officers.

Investigators said two officers returned fire and hit the suspect.

This happened at about 3:30 p.m.

He was taken to a hospital. Police did not release information about his condition.

No officers were hurt.
