Limon inmate’s death investigated as homicide

LIMON, Colo. — An inmate at the Limon Correctional Facility died Saturday and the Colorado Department of Corrections said the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Joshua Edmonds, 25, was serving a 15-year sentence for burglary at the high-security prison, Colorado Department of Corrections Adrienne Jacobson said.

The cause and manner of death are being investigated by the coroner’s office.

Investigators with the Office of the Inspector General are working with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to investigate the death.
