Endangered man from out of town missing, last seen in Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder Police are looking for a 54-year-old man who went missing in Boulder on Sunday.

The missing man, David A. Kuehls, was considered endangered because he suffers from mental health issues and needs daily medication, according to Boulder officials.

He does not have his medication with him.

Kuehls was in town visiting family from Ohio and arrived in Boulder on Friday.

Around 6 a.m. Sunday morning Kuehls told his family he was going to get coffee on the Pearl Street Mall, officials said, he has not been seen since.

His last known location was near 9th Street and Baseline Road.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds.  The man is bald with green eye last seen wearing a green sweater, khaki pants and either Adidas or Nike athletic shoes.

Kuehls does not have access to a vehicle and doesn’t own a cell phone. Officials said he usually gets around by walking and by using buses.
