Electronic signs try to stand out from thousands of other signs in metro Denver

AURORA, Colo. -- Aurora officials say their city has 65,000 signs in it. They tell people what to do, where to go, what not to do and where not to go. They also urge caution, and sometimes they deliver urgent information.

We see more electronic signs on wheels than ever before. These "variable message signs" are designed to stand out from the static signs to deliver whatever important messages are needed.
